COSTS OF REFRACTIVE LASER SURGERY
Each patient should have an ophthalmological examination to see if surgery is possible, in this manner any disease can be detected which might be the cause of the vision problem. For example an un-attached retina, cataracts, glaucoma etc. The cost for this examination is US$ 44.00.

After the ophthalmological examination the patient must have a corneal map examination (topographic), and the measurement of the corneal thickness (pachometry). Cost for this examination is US$ 82.00 for both eyes.

Each patient must have a blood examination for HIV, (AIDS) by a laboratory which we will recommend in Costa Rica, which will cost US$ 24.00.
