Cardiac Care Program
CARDIO STRESS offers heart
patients sophisticated technology right here in Costa Rica. We work with the country's
leading heart surgeons which treat hundreds of coronary bypass patients each year. Our
cardiac care unit is equipped to perform cardiac catheterizations, administer angioplasty
treatments and perform specialized diagnostic testing to enable physicians to accurately
identify and prescribe effective treatment for cardiac patients.

Advances in technology have made outpatient evaluation, of cardiac problems safer, faster

We diagnose and assist, when requested, in the management of patients with the full
range of cardiac conditions. Coronary artery disease, lipid and cholesterol problems,
valve disease, hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmia. We offer consultation to
primary care physicians as well as ongoing diagnostic and preventative care to people with
heart problems.

CARDIO STRESS provides diagnostic support in all areas of
inpatient critical care, and the staff is highly skilled in procedures such as diagnostic
cardiac catheterization, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, stenting radial
artery PTCA balloon valvuloplasty, pacemaker implantation and electrophysiology studies.
